Victoria, BC

I've heard so much about Victoria - but this is the first time I've been here.  I didn't see too much today, we flew in just before dinner and after checking into the Empress hotel, we had dinner somewhere close by.  I like what I see so far!

Here is the lovely hotel, with a lovely view:

..and the government building at night, which resembles something between Harrods and Disneyland.  I can see this from my hotel room...but still no sign of mickey mouse!
